I've just had a colleague point out this slide in the current Implementation course which contradicts the current editorial approach.

I'm wondering how widely this change has been communicated?

  1. Matt Cordell, just letting you know that I'm following up on this from the SNOMED International perspective. Regards, Cathy.

  2. Hi Matt Matt Cordell- where and when is this slide deck from?

  3. I missed the change in editorial approach actually. (I did see the numbers in the international edition and wondered what they were doing there). Where can I find this decision?

  4. Elze de Groot, you'll find the Editorial guidance on this in Section 6.2.10.1 on this page 6.2.10 Qualifier value, it touches on the rationale.

  5. Matt Cordell, In relation to the difference between the educational presentation and the Editorial Guide, the Editorial Guide is the one to follow. The need to update the educational material has been noted. Regards, Cathy.

  6. Added task to JIRA as ELPM-101

Presentation has now been updated. Including change to the relevant bullet and narrative and an added note on slide 38

Update notes added in November 2017:
•In 2017 an approach to modeling drug strengths
using concepts that represent numbers was adopted
•Future changes are likely to enable more complete
    representation of concrete domains
