System requirements for using the Authoring Platform (AP)
The AP is a web-based solution. In order to use the AP, it is strongly recommended to use Google Chrome and a reliable internet connection. No other software needs to be installed on your computer in order to use the AP.
How to get to AP?
IHTSDO authors who have access to IHTSDO JIRA may use the AP with their existing JIRA Account. Otherwise, you may need to register a new account when you first access AP. AP can be accessed by visiting https://authoring.ihtsdotools.org/ after Dec 7,2015. . Note the test site is located here, https://uat-authoring.ihtsdotools.org/. Logging in to AP
The AP uses Identify Management Service (IMS) to manage credentials. You can use your existing login name and password that you use for Confluence. Should you have any difficulty please enter your issue by submitting a Freshdesk request (https://ihtsdo.freshdesk.com), attention to TechSupport. Figure 1a. Once logged in through IMS, you are automatically logged in to the AP. Choose the AP from the list of IHTSDO tools and you will be redirected to your AP task dashboard, Figure 1b.
