System requirements for using the Authoring Platform (AP)

The AP is a web-based tool designed for modern web browsers and monitors with at least 1366 x 768 pixel screen resolution. We strongly recommend the use Google Chrome, with a screen resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels or higher, and a reliable internet connection for best experience. No other software needs to be installed on your computer in order to use the AP.

How to get to the AP?

SNOMED CT authors who have access to the SNOMED CT JIRA may use the AP with their existing JIRA credentials. Otherwise, you may need to register a new account when you first access the AP. The International and Managed Service platforms run on different web addresses, as follows:

Logging in to the AP

The AP uses the SNOMED International Identify Management Service (IMS) to authenticate and authorise registered account access. If you're already registered with an existing SNOMED International JIRA/Confluence account then you can use those credentials.

If you try to access the above links when not logged in, you will see the IMS login screen - enter your account name and password then press Log In. Once authenticated you will be directed to your Dashboard - My Tasks view in the Authoring Platform.

Checking the Automatic log in box before pressing Log In will cache your credentials, so that your account name and password are automatically entered in the form when you next need to log in.
