SNOMED CT Expo 2016 brings the greatest minds in the world together to discuss the global language of healthcare: SNOMED CT. We are looking for submissions (papers and posters) in the following themes:
· SNOMED CT Solutions
· Enhancing Clinical Practice
· SNOMED CT Development
This is your chance to share your insights and experience with an international audience.
SNOMED CT Expo 2016 is located in New Zealand this year, following on from the success of the previous events held in Sydney, Stockholm, Washington DC, Amsterdam and Montevideo. Kiwis have embarked on a three-year journey to establish a lifetime electronic health record that embraces SNOMED CT for clinical decision support, care coordination and precision medicine.
Conference delegates will include local and international experts and leaders, as well as those who are newer to SNOMED CT and health terminology.

Key Dates:
- Friday, 29th April (21:00 UTC) – Call for submissions closes (review by Program Committee begins)
- Monday, 30th May – Proposers informed whether their submissions have been accepted
- Friday, 24th June – Final abstracts required from presenters (for the Expo program)
- Monday, 19th September – Final date to receive electronic copies of posters and slide decks (for future publication after the event)
