Hi all,

The Mental and Behavioural Health Clinical Reference Group is looking for clinical input from ICU nursing specialists on Intensive care related mental health/neurological disorders. Is any one able to assist with this or have contacts who may be able to assist?

Thanks,

Cathy

Hi all,

Just a reminder that feedback on Nursing Subontology is due 31 July. Further information and link to feedback form:Notes for subontologies and feedback.pdf

Kind regards,

Cathy

Hi all,

As raised briefly at the April Nursing CRG meeting work has been occurring to support the development of subontologies for specific domains including nursing. This work has now progressed to the point that the IAA Content Extraction and Sharing group is looking for feedback via a questionnaire. It would be appreciated if Nursing CRG members would look at the subontology browser located: https://iaa.snomed.tools/? and respond to the questionnaire by the end of July. Note, the nursing subontology shown in the browser relates to the content in the current SNOMED CT Nursing Activities and Nursing Health Issues reference sets. It does not include the current ICNP-SNOMED CT work.

Further information and a link to the questionnaire are included in this PDF: Notes for subontologies and feedback.pdf

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Kind regards,

Cathy Richardson

We have received a request for discussion. The Nutrition Group has had a finding concept added: 1162727003 |Goal discontinued (finding)|. Since this concept together with other current goal finding concepts 390800000 |Goal achievement finding (finding)| and subtypes are relevant to other domains including nursing, our group is being asked if we'd like to comment on this type of content. See: https://dailybuild.ihtsdotools.org/?perspective=full&conceptId1=390800000&edition=MAIN&release=&languages=en

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday's meeting.

We are planning a meeting of the Nursing Clinical Reference Group on 18 November 2020 at 2000 UTC. We are using the zoom details that are allocated for the group on the Nursing CRG confluence page.

We want to focus discussion on implementation of SNOMED CT and how nurses are working with their EHRs, and identifying use cases that you have nationally or locally, along with any issues/questions that are being raised. This will enable to explore key areas of work which the group can focus on going forward.

And we will provide an update on SNOMED International work relevant to nursing, including our work with ICN to incorporate ICNP into SNOMED CT.

We look forward to 'seeing' everyone on 18 November 2020 at 2000 UTC and meanwhile please let us know if you have any discussion points you would like to raise.

Jane Millar and Ian Green
