Promote a task to project
Note: A task can only be promoted if it does not have any Merges to review.

If you are ready to promote a task, from the task information pane, select the Promote This Task to the Project button. . |

| The ui will then indicate that it is preparing the task for promotion. In doing so it will run a series or best practice checks to ensure that classification has been run and a review completed. If either of these steps have not been completed the ui will warn the user and as if they would like to proceed anyway. To continue with promotion select, Promote Anyway . |

| Once the task has been promoted, a blue notification will appear at the top of the screen. An yellow alert on the task information pane will indicate that the task has been promoted and no further changes are allowed. |  |
