Andrew Atkinson posted this announcement on 31 March, 2017:

"Dear all,
The Beta release of the LOINC - SNOMED CT Cooperative Project is now available, from the MLDS distribution site.
USE WITHIN CLINICAL SYSTEMS CANNOT BE SUPPORTED AT THIS TIME.
The Beta release reference sets represent a proof of concept and are distributed for evaluation purposes only. They are not for use in production clinical systems or in clinical settings.
This package is dependent upon, and should therefore be evaluated in the context of the January 2017 SNOMED CT International Edition.
All files are available from the “LOINC - SNOMED CT Cooperative package BETA release” version of the “LOINC - SNOMED CT Cooperative package - SNOMED International” project, to be found in the “Offline & Alpha/Beta Releases” section of the “IHTSDO Releases” page on MLDS, accessed here:
https://mlds.ihtsdotools.org/#/ihtsdoReleases
The release is distributed in a zipped archive file in the official RF2 format:
xSnomedCT_LOINC_Beta_20170331T120000.zip
The Release Notes have been separated from the release package, and so can be downloaded as a distinct pdf file from the same MLDS release version. They can also be accessed here online:
https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/display/RMT/SNOMED+CT+January+2017+LOINC+-+SNOMED+CT+Cooperative+package+BETA+release+-+RF2+Release+notes
Please provide feedback by 14 April, 2017 via the online feedback form, which can be found here:
https://confluence.ihtsdotools.org/x/EIdHAg
If you have any questions about the Beta release, or have difficulties downloading the files, please contact SNOMED International at support@snomed.org with the subject line as “LOINC-SNOMED CT cooperation project Beta edition”.

We at nebraska need access to this beta release and my view of the page says 'No offline or alpha/beta releases available'

  2. Hi Jim,

Suzanne is off today, but I might be able to help. Can you please confirm whether you have a log in for that site? The LOINC release is a Beta release, and so is located in the “Offline and Alpha/Beta Releases” section. This can only be seen when the people are logged into MLDS.

Alternatively you can use the following link from LOINC website, which contains the same package: https://loinc.org/news/beta-edition-of-draft-loinc-snomed-ct-mappings-and-expression-associations-now-available/

    Best regards,

    Farzaneh
