Greetings to our mapping community! On the threshold to the new year, we're excited to roll out the latest updates in Snap2Snomed.

Snap2SNOMED (https://snap.snomedtools.org) continues to stand as SNOMED International’s freely available tool for collaborative mapping from diverse code systems to SNOMED CT. A range of new features are now available, increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the mapping process.

Here's a quick rundown of the key enhancements:

  • Simplified Login Process: Access Snap2SNOMED more swiftly with a streamlined login procedure.
  • Dual Author Mode with Reconciliation: Collaborate seamlessly in dual author mode, ensuring mapping accuracy through easy reconciliation.
  • Replacement of Inactive Concepts: Effortlessly update mappings by replacing inactive concepts.
  • Display Concept Definitions: Gain clarity while mapping by directly accessing concept definitions within the tool.
  • Enhanced Export Format: Customize exports with multiple columns and notes for greater flexibility.
  • Export to FHIR ConceptMap: Boost interoperability by exporting mappings to FHIR ConceptMap.

In extension to this, please mark your calendars for our upcoming Implementation Webinar scheduled for February 8th, 2024, at 11:00 UTC.
