The disease presents typically during adolescence or adulthood. Symptoms may include one or several types of abnormal movements seen in organic movement disorders (tremor, dystonia, chorea, bradykinesia, myoclonus, tics, athetosis, ballism, cerebellar incoordination) and also affect speech and gait.
