In partnership with the NHS, Our Future Health aims to be the UK’s largest ever health research programme. It is designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection, and treatment of diseases. With Our Future Health, researchers will be able to analyse data that will help them to identify more effective ways of tackling diseases.
In his keynote address, Dr. Roddam will share the research mission of the Our Future Health project, its goals, and how SNOMED CT supports this groundbreaking research initiative to produce tangible outcomes for patients and citizens.
An internationally renowned epidemiologist, Dr Roddam has held a wide range of roles across both academia and the pharmaceutical industry, principally focused on the application of epidemiological methods to advance the understanding of human disease. He has a strong interest in health informatics and is an experienced board member within the UK and internationally who regularly participates at international meetings and conferences as a keynote speaker.
