How to add a manual replacement. 

Prerequisite steps: Log in to Reference Set Tool 2.0; View the Select Replacements Modal.

Press the Add Manual Replacement button (button icon is a large “plus” Add symbol shown when you're able to add a concept symbol) to the right of an inactive concept. 

 

A new row will appear below the selected concept. 

 






Enter the concept name or ID in the search bar. 

 









Select the desired concept from the dropdown list.  

 

 






Press the Add Manual Replacement button (button icon is a rounded square with a “plus” Add symbol shown when you're able to add a conceptsymbol); OR press the Remove button (button icon is an "Subtract symbol shown when you're able to remove a concept") to clear the search. 

 

The new replacement concept will appear in a new row in place of the search bar with the Association type of “Manual Replacement.” 

 






Press the Add button (button icon is a rounded square with a “plus” Add symbol shown when you're able to add a conceptsymbol) to the left of the new replacement concept to add it to the membership. 

 

The text of the manual replacement will become bold to indicate membership. 

 




If more than one manual replacement is needed for the selected inactive concept, press the Add Manual Replacement button again (button icon is a large “plus”Add symbol shown when you're able to add a concept symbol) to the right of the inactive concept. Repeat steps above.  




NOTE: A manual replacement may be added for any inactive concept, not just those without a suggested replacement.
