Implementation Options
- Implement a local development, procure a system or a combination
- Design, develop and test, in agile, iterative cycles, or
- Define the criteria to decide if to procure an existing system, a new system, or a customized system
- Engage all stakeholders
- Involve a multi-disciplinary team, e.g.
- Clinicians, system architects, software designers, developers, management, clinical researchers, user experience designers, data security experts
- Work with clinical champions, selected from the user community
- Communicate benefits and listen to feedback
- Implement a user training, feedback and support system
