A hierarchy in which each node is linked to only one parent node.
Notes
- Each node in a the hierarchy is linked to the top of the hierarchy by a single path.
Example
- The figure below shows a monohierarchy. Each node has one parent so there is only
one route from each node to the top of the hierarchy.
For example from node P the path is P→G→C→A.
