What is Community Content?

  • A collaborative platform for global content which is outside the current scope of the International Edition, providing rapid global access to  content without waiting for SNOMED International official releases
  • Allows organizations, groups and individuals to add quality content to SNOMED CT without any intervention from SNOMED International
  • Not a single standalone edition of SNOMED CT to be released but will contain community extensions and content that can be accessed as a service globally.
  • Content in this platform has not been published or endorsed by SNOMED International or any of its Member countries.

The following clinical domains are in the first iteration of the Community Content platform and are currently available under the SNOMED CT license

  • See the progress of on-going projects involving other organizations
  • Provide feedback on content in each of the projects that is directed to the relevant teams
