How to launch the reference set comparison process.

Prerequisite steps: From either Library or My Reference Sets in Dashboard and choose a reference set.

Select a reference set to open the Reference Set Details page. 

 

Press Compare in the top-left corner of the page.  

 


 

 


The Comparison Selection modal will be presented. It contains the following: 

Active Reference Set: Selected reference set name, version date, and version status.  

Comparison Reference Set section: 

Another Version radial button: The user may select another version of the selected reference set from the dropdown list. 

Different Reference Set radial button: The user may select a different reference set: 

Search field: User may search for a reference set by ID or FSN. 

Select Version for Comparison dropdown list: User may choose a version of the comparison reference set. 

Launch Comparison button: The button will be disabled until the comparison reference set version is selected. 

EITHER 

Choose the Another Version radial button (if available).

 

Select another version of the selected reference set from the dropdown list. 

OR 

Choose the Different Reference Set radial button. Will default to Difference Reference Set if Another Version is not available.

 

Search for a different reference set by entering an ID or FSN in the search field. 

 

Choose a version of the comparison reference set from the dropdown list. 


Press the Launch Comparison button


 

A success message will be presented in the upper-right corner of the window.  

 

Press the Show Comparison button in the success message to view the detailed comparison of the selected reference sets. See View the Compare Reference Sets Modal for instructions.
