Additional Notes

This release adds new features for Description Logic support and in the International platform alongside a number of maintenance issue fixes and improvements related to both International and Managed Service. This release establishes a 2018 baseline for AWS hosting migration, and marks the first deployment to both the International and Managed Service platforms from a single consolidated version - these release notes now apply to both platforms, and both platforms will be updated . Also from this version onwards, each release version will be deployed to both platforms usually within a few days with the same version in future releases (whilst noting that MS by definition will always have an earlier version of MRCM , albeit subject to the following configuration differences:

• The Managed Service MRCM Rules will inherently always be an earlier version than International, matched to

• dependencies in

• the current International public release of SNOMED CT, since the International version will include changes and dependencies needed for the next SNOMED CT release authoring cycle.
• Managed Service will continue using the internal Terminology Server classifier, rather than the new external Classification-Service, until at least the July 2018 SNOMED CT public release is available to the MS NRC extensions. New features only available with the new external service will not be presented in the MS application until the relevant content dependencies become part of a public SNOMED CT release.
