Learn about which users can see which reference sets.
Guest users can see:
Public published reference sets only.
Logged in users can see:
For public reference sets where the user is not a member:
- The reference set’s most recent version where the Version Status was Published.
- If a public reference set has never had a Version Status of Published, then it is not visible.
- This is the same as if the user did not log in.
For private reference sets where user is not a member:
- These reference sets will never be visible to the user (unless they are made public, or the user becomes a member).
For private reference sets where user is a member (whether they are public or private):
- The most recent version of these private reference set
- This is true for any Version Status.
- This is the case even if the user has yet to contribute to the reference set.
The reference sets visible to logged in users on the Library page will be selected via a picklist. The options are:
- All: Displays all reference sets visible to the user.
- Public: Displays public reference sets only.
- Private: Displays private reference sets only, that the user is a member of.
