Should the AG continue to operate for another year? Why or why not?
This Advisory Group has provided a content focused forum in which to gather valuable input and feedback on IHTSDO content projects and issues to support provision of a product that meets user needs.
Active participation by group members in focused subgroups will support the IHTSDO in the development of material e.g. Content Tracker prioritization criteria which will assist in progressing work items as well as augment content development capacity.
Additional comments:
- The AG experienced a change in Chair during this calendar year.
- The AG work plan was revised in July 2016 to support alignment with a review of the Terms of Reference. The work items above are from the revised plan.
- Changes have been implemented e.g. topic based management of information, to enable the group to work more effectively and support timely input into content activities.

Should there be an additional item for Member countries discussions? I think the discussion on developing extension content based on common understanding of the acceptable changes, is a very hot topic, especially with the coming activities related to distributed editing. This is supporting enhancement of terminology content and maintenance.

An additional function of the group is to provide an information channel for content-specific issues from IHTSDO to those member countries which do have a representative. Information channels to those that do not have been discussed.
