    Further topics suggested by Philip Wilford:

    So if mobile devices/apps can capture health information, how can these devices interact with terminology services. What standards we should be encouraging the use of?

     

    • With HL7 FHIR currently in DSTU2, what is the appropriate way forward in serving up terminology? Using Medication Resources, Value Set Resources?
    • What does the vendor community need in terms of tools (open source) to help them support and integrate this?

    The questions above relate to a second item around a quick demo I can give to our AG.

    We have developed a Manage Meds app to showcase how we have used CSIRO’s Onto Server (Terminology) along with FHIR resources and other interfaces to complete the functionality of the app. It might be of interest to the group?
